Kid's Way (Grades 1-5)
Our Passion
We want children in our ministry to live with a solid understanding that God loves them and that we are created to enjoy fellowship with Him. And it is through the power of the Gospel that this relationship is available.
"Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and favor with God and all the people." Luke 2:52
With the Destination in Mind
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 "And you must commit yourselves whole-heartedly to these command that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are home and when you are on the road, when youa re going to bed and when you are getting up."
It is our desire that teaching God's Word is a shared experience with the family. The lessons and stories that we cover each weekend should be reinforced at home throughout the week. By giving our families resources and information on the lessons that their children learn, we equip them to live in accordance with scripture.
Blazing the Trail
There are three points that we engage Kid's Way every week to ensure each child is on the right trail:
We direct them to God.

Through interactive worship, relevant Bible teaching, creative stories, and wacky characters, we point each child to threee key truths: wisdom (I need to make wise choices), faith (I can trust God no matter what), and friendship (I should treat others the way I want to be treated),
We direct them to their leaders

It is important for a child to see godly lives being lived out. Our leaders serve faithfully and lovingly to teach children and be friends with the children so that God can be seen in all we do. Interested in opportunities to serve?
We direct them to their parents

Parents are where our children see values lived out. We believe that parents are a crucial guide in a child's spiritual life. By equipping parents to lead godly lives, we equip our children to live godly lives.
